Not to bag on Cole Brannen, but Bryan Gonzalez had as many extra bases in his debut as Brannen has all season...

Used not to be unusual for the high end kids. Rijo, Vinicio, Almanzar, Beltre, Tejada. We went a while without other high end kids since Devers, so it was hard to know, but maybe as with Antoni, they are starting them in the DSL, but if they rake they can jump to the GCL. Keep in mind that at the Dominican Academy the players are learning things like English and getting other "classroom" training. There are plenty of reasons why it can make more sense to have a guy go DSL to Lowell than push him to the U.S.

Like the new look of SP. My wife used my computer to order a bathing suit online. Sad, back to baseball. I had disabled Zaful in my AD blocker to order the suit and forgot to re-enable it. Now I'm back to construction and well drilling equipment from searching for things like a water pump. Anybody need a cement truck ?? Aside. I don't know if they have Zaful in the USA but we've now ordered 3 bathing suits and the quality and prices are very good. $10-$12 per suit including shipping which is very low even by Filipino standards. The first two arrived within a week of the order. ADD: Just in case... Clothing company and the sizes are Filipino sizes which are about 2 sizes smaller than US sizes. Example, I wore large T-shirts in the USA but XX here. If you wear small in the USA, you would order large here. Even shoes, I wore a 9 1/2 in the USA, 11 here.
