Josh Jong first pick Keith law missed, though he listed him as his second choice for the Rangers at 8. Pretty impressive, actually.

It would be cool to see us draft Quintana again. His strikeouts are a concern, but he’s got a good looking swing and we’ve seen a lot of him. Didn't Quintana say that his was a "swing from God?"

You know how people are more inclined to think a player will succeed because a specific team drafted them (a la pretty much every Patriots draft pick recently)? That's how I feel about Zack Thompson going to the Cardinals.

Cubs selecting at 27 take Ryan Jensen P, Fresno State who MLB had ranked 99. Saving slot money?

Dunne! Small is off the board at #28 to MIL. (I was secretly hoping we'd nab him at #43 even though he doesn't seem like a Red Sox pick at all). Picks have been a bit unpredictable starting around #21 or so...

So i'm guessing Matthew and Malone are headed to college. I know Leiter is.

As much as I want to restock on some pitching I would love to see Kameron Misner somehow reach our pick. Interesting pick by Arizona grabbing Walton that early...he’s the what could he be when adds 45 Pounds but I just don’t have the stomach for that game anymore.

He's still really young for a high school senior so he's got plenty of time to develop physically. I like what they've done so far.

I don't think it was a train wreck pick by any means but I think the Yankees could've done a lot better with their first round pick and that makes me happy.

Apparently the draft also has a pace of play problem.

And I'm also thankful that Brennan Malone went off the board before the Yankees pick again at 38. Now I just have to hope that the Yankees didn't save on Volpe in order to pick Allan at 38. I doubt it but I also like to worry.

Leiter is going to college so i doubt we will draft him. Allen also looks doubtful.

Interesting crop of HS SS left on the board: Kyren Paris, Matthew Lugo, Gunnar Henderson, Brooks Lee, and Nasim Nunez.

Wow - Greg Jones went a lot higher than many boards had him. 80 speed and a 70 arm will do that, I guess.

I’m guessing they take Rece Hinds and add to the 3B collection.

I’m guessing they take Rece Hinds and add to the 3B collection. We don’t have enough power/swing and miss corner infielders

A couple picks away....I'm most intrigued by one of the HS shortstops if signable. Would be fine with Strumpf, Cannon, or Quintana too.
