I mentioned Miller's teammate Cannon earlier, this guy has some plus power also. from BA: A 37th-round pick of the Braves out of Riverside (Calif.) JC in 2017, Miller teamed with Connor Cannon to give UC Riverside one of the country’s top power duos this spring. Thick and chiseled at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, Miller boasts plus or better raw power and has increasingly tapped into it each year. He hit .365/.401/.650 while hitting 14 home runs. Miller is a bit stiff, isn’t much of a runner and is limited to the corner outfield, but his bat plays. He will go as far as his offense takes him. At the Dodger Stadium pre draft invite workout Dean Miller was blasting shot after shot into the upper seats in left field bleachers. Then he batted left handed and almost hit the roof in right field pavilion. Scary thing was that it was a cold rainy day. During the regular season he had a top homerun exit velocity of 111mph and several at 110mph. Right handed he has pole to pole power. In the outfield he has great instincts and great first step combined with excellent closing speed. At the Dodgers workout he ran a 6.8 sec 60 yard dash. His arm clocked at 94mph from the outfield. Wow, are you his agent? 6.8 60 is 55 speed. 110+ mph EV is probably 65-70 raw power. 94 mph arm is probably a 60+ arm. That's pretty nuts for a 24th round senior. Welcome to the board!

Just named Nevada player of the year and all USA first team. RHP/3B in high school, P/1B for the Puf Caps. Big boy, 210 pounder. Apparently 28 different teams talked to him pre draft so I am guessing the price tag is high. Drafted as a pitcher but I wonder whether he prefers pitching or a position. Aaron Roberts School: Desert Oasis (Las Vegas) Position: 3B/RHP Height/Weight: 6-3/215 Class: 2019 Noteworthy: Roberts blasted 13 home runs, 15 doubles, had 50 total hits and drove in 57 runs as he slashed .476/.605/1.009. On the mound, he had a 1.32 ERA and three shutouts with 71 Ks in 37 innings as he led Desert Oasis to the championship.
