E. Rod, Nunez & Casas for Madison Bumgarner & Will Smith No thank you. Bumgarner and Smith would be great, but there's no way the Giants want Nunez. And really, you need to think ahead. Bumgarner would be there for what, two months? And then he's gone. The Red Sox are going to lose Porcello after the season most likely, so if you lose E-Rod and Bumgarner isn't coming back then what does your rotation look like? Sale, Price, Eovaldi, and ?? It's not like they have starting pitching prospects you can comfortably pencil into the rotation. And not only do you dig yourself a big hole for 2020 and beyond, trading Casas for a rental would be monumentally stupid. There is little reason to think that Tristan Casas, in time, won't be a middle of the order monster. Why the hell would you want to deal that away? I would pass on that trade every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I'm thankful you don't work in the Red Sox F.O. They'd be challenging the Orioles for the basement.

He’d get lit up in Boston, and we need cost effective talent, not another highly paid player.

Ditto, you'd never let the team challenge for a title Newsflash, they are already challenging for the title. And I'd like them to keep doing that. Dumping Casas in a deal for two rentals does not accomplish this. Nor does it answer the questions I posed to you. It's not 2019 or bust for me.

I don’t mean to offend but this is a HORRIBLE trade. We already have a severe lack of talent in the farm and you want to trade our best prospect for two months of a pitcher with injury problems, over 30, and on the decline? If Casas is traded it better be for a mid 20s controllable asset, not a guy who is comparable to the starter you want to trade for him. I’m not on here to roast people, but you need to put more thought into these ideas than “big name=title”

If it doesn't have JBJ in it then it's not a real trade proposal imo. lol

I'm revising my trade proposal;
If in 15 days the Sox are serious contenders for a wild card;
Casas & Duran for Bumgarner, Smith & Watson

I would not mind seeing the Yankees send three or four high end prospects to the giants for the mad bum!

No one would send the Giants 3 or 4 high end prospects for Bumgarner unless it was 2015 or so.

MADBUM wouldn't waive the trade to Yankees if it happens. He doesn't want to shave his trademark beard. It's stupid policy from the Yankees. Madison is also list Boston as one of xx teams as block list.

Bumgardner makes too much money. John Henry wants to spend very little on this team. That's the situation the Sox are in this year. Sigh.
