And I'm wrong. Surprised they don't want to get two-three innings out of him instead of (potentially) just the one. I think given the knee, the ship has probably sailed on his being anything other than a RP. Agreed, but he went 1.2 IP (26 pitches), 3.0 (34) ans 2.0 (28) in his previous rehab outings. That said, he could do what Velazquez did in Lowell and throw in the pen afterward.

The box score says Wright faced four batters and gave up one walk and no hits. Sounds good. If anyone saw it, tell us about it.

Good command and control numbers for Yusniel Padron-Artilles
6.0IP 5H 2R 2ER 0BB 7K
95 pitches / 65s
Only 1 strikeout looking, must have a swing and miss pitch, he seems to have a history of decent K's and ratios relative to age.
ADD: He will be 21 all year.
Career 53.1 IP 10BB 51K

Tyler Thornburg has been so remarkably consistent. Tonight's results were exactly the kind of results he put up in Boston.

Tyler Thornburg has been so remarkably consistent. Tonight's results were exactly the kind of results he put up in Boston. Just release him already. Why ? He isn't harming Boston in Pawtucket and there's still a chance for upside.
