Great win. We need another reliable arm. Great is a bit strong. Would like for them to just beat a team without making it an adventure. Every win is great.

We come off a needed victory and lead the charge to take the series with....Leon and Travis in the line up. Good grief.

Well, then that just becomes a redundant saying. No, it is a statement of universal good. The point of the game is to win. The objective of the season is to win. Each game is metaphorical battle, as each season is a metaphorical war. Each win is a triumph, a form of greatness. To win one more game than NYY in any given year is a true good. Winning the World Series is euphoria, if not the closest to rapture one can feel on this earth.

We really need JDM to remember how good a hitter he is. How many will the team LOB today?

JD refusing to do anything with all the hot hitters on base in front of him

Most runs in the majors isn't good enough.

Sale so far - about 4 mph less velo on the FB and more use of breaking pitches, but also more control.

We really need JDM to remember how good a hitter he is. How many will the team LOB today? I read where his hitting coach who changed his swing, and who he used to text virtually daily, has been barred from coaching him in any way by his new employer, the Los Angeles Dodgers. I wonder if that's in his head, or if he needs those insights even after all this time.

Long at bat so far, but thus far Sale's pitch efficiency has been pretty good. They need a minimum of 6 innings from him. It would be nice to not use 5 relievers again tonight.

Typed too fast. Was hoping for an out. The long at bat doesn't look great, unless he gets a quick DP.

Pitch 3 looks very borderline according to Gameday.

Biggio is one annoying batter. He's trying to walk in every at bat and never swings. Pitchers should attack the zone against him because he's not swinging at anything.

I see the Red Sox want no part of that Toronto BP.

Damn, smashing everything right up the middle and nothing to show for it. Pannone will break soon.

Once again the ghost of Cy Young inhabits the arm of a scrub pitcher

They're getting at least 6 innings out of Sale. That's a win.

Chavis swinging at the balls, watching the strike down the middle.

49 pitches through 4 innings. It's like the offense wants the day off.

They're getting at least 6 innings out of Sale. That's a win. Only if we score, which we've not done for Sale this year
