Can no one recognize how good the Yankees hitters were that inning? No, it's all just terrible Porcello, giving up 28 foul balls. tbf he does have a 7.23 ERA since the start of June And Tanaka has a 51.00 ERA against the Red Sox in his last 2 starts. so what?

And I'd accept that thought for a pitcher whose ERA wasn't getting closer to 6 with every outing. A guy like Price, Sale, heck even ERod lately... those guys deserve some benefit of the doubt when they have an inning like that. Porcello has run out. it looked like he was hitting decent spots, changing speeds and eye lever, and they didn't hit the long ball, which is their calling card. The lack of curves....and the MFY have seen him so much over the years. I don't know, you have to at least consider that is was just a set of circumstances. Let's see what he has left coming up.

When the hitters chase like Xander and JDM did last inning, Tanaka is unhittable. When the hitters don't chase, he has absolutely nothing.

Damn....couldn't score there I can't see it live He’s running slow. Same in the first inning. Maybe not “gingerly”, but I assume he’s taking it easy on his back.

if mookie could redirect to left field a few of the deep fly balls he's hit this year, his season would be looking like a monster one.

Gift strike three there.
I'll take it. Nice to get one of those calls once in a while.

Yipppeeee !!! Rick went on Sox prospects after the 2nd inning and said, "Alright...I will show you". The next inning will be the danger inning....if he makes it through that inning, we'll be on our way.
