LOL, how many runs would he have to give up to not have it locked down ?

One thing to like about CJ Chatham: He's really good against LHP. He entered today's game with a .333/.362/.483 vs southpaws and he's already 2-2 with a double. I'm OK with a Marco/CJ platoon in 2020😋

Ockimey gets another HR (#19). 6-12, 2 HR, 3 BB, 3 K over his last four games. Hopefully the slump is over.

Hey, in person he really looks like a player. His body is classic athlete. He stands out. Lean, wiry, long and at 18 has room to grow...Who knows but at this juncture he looks to me like he has "it".

Maybe this isn’t the right thread but I can’t possibly see how Cannon is rated a higher prospect than Lugo on this site

When SP puts eyes on Lugo I think there will be a very positive report.

Casas 6 for his last 32 AB. no home runs. Only 2 RBIs. However he’s still walking and limiting Ks. Wonder if he’s had some bad luck with BABIP

Gershon Rabinowitz @gershonline · 21m Golden Spikes Award finalist Noah Song made his second start in pro baseball and justifies his spring dominance. He has command of a high 90s fastball, a slider with sharp break away from RH hitters, a changeup, and curveball. The highest drafted player out of Navy. #DirtyWater

Wonder if they are “allowed” to promote song this summer with the naval commitment issues, I read that he is technically stationed in Rhode Island currently...

Dang I have to say as disappointing as the MLB season has been (relative to expectations, at least), the minor league season has been just as exciting in the other direction. Lots of guys breaking out.

Lakins with a 5.14 ERA now. He and Feltman have been a huge disappointment this year.

Wonder if he’s had some bad luck with BABIP Bad month after hurting his shoulder (I believe) and missing 5 days to start July. Maybe that did something to his power, or maybe he is just getting a little worn down.

Lakins with a 5.14 ERA now. He and Feltman have been a huge disappointment this year. Agree on Lakins. Feltman was challenged though. I think everyone talked themselves into him going from 3rd round pick to elite MLB reliever in 12 months. Which, unicorns. In reality he to Double-A in his first full season and has shown some positives. I think he has disappointed only relative to our unrealistic expectations (myself included).

Not a Sox Prospect, but Jake Mangum is wearing eye black in his headshot and I think that is tremendous.
