How is our starting pitching this awful across the board? At what point is it a coaching/game plan issue?

lol, baseball in 2019. this is why you can't be nibbling so much. It's either a walk or a home run or lucky outs.

People who say that's a bad pitch-
It was not even a strike inside of Torres' only cold spot. What else can you do? Throw to his hot spot?

It makes you wonder, but I think it’s repeated instances of poor execution on individual pitches by individual pitchers. You walk guys and give up bombs and end up with crooked numbers against you.

It looked quite often, but I am watching on game day and didn't see the first couple of batters.. 'I don't know if throwing to his hot spot would have made a difference, but he must have been looking fastball in. It has to be noted. He got a double play on the change after another Yankee hit a fastball in for a base hit.

It amazing the redsox going into the trade deadline were red hot and ownership does nothing and now there dead in the water. This team needed a piece or two and if they would have done something I believe they would be playing a whole lot better

They're doing a wonderful job proving him right.

I have a new theory that the fault for this season lies with soxprospect posters. We never could decide: sign Kimbrel? Trade? Buyers? Sellers? So many questions from spring training forward. How could anyone hope for the Sox to succeed if we can’t get it straight?

Both of our "aces" Sale and Price were terrible. We all saw starting pitching crap all over themselves and team management chose not to do more. You can excuse the poor play on no trades but Sox were already in trouble

You can never go in with same exact team changes should have been made to keep things fresh and to keep an edge on this team. There are times this team is just going through the motions. The pitching at times is pathetic and seems to pitch scared. It’s a constant theme with this team.

And who else would we give up majors/minors and what would the return be? I would like to know the plan and why.

I actually think Dombrowski should have sold. They got hot at the wrong time. I'm saying this team is doing wonderful at proving Dombrowski right by not buying into them.
