Pawtucket, and GCL eliminated yesterday. Greenville lived to see another day, their magic number remains at 2. DSL1 magic number down to 1. Salem split its doubleheader with Wilmington, and Potomac also split, so Salem is holding onto a two-game lead.

Solid last outing of the year for Wilkelman Gonzalez. There are a couple pitchers who had sneaky good years in the DSL (Gonzalez, Railin Perez, Gabriel Jackson, Nixson Munoz). Hopefully a few of them make it to instructs.

Gonzalez and Jackson got pretty big bonuses ($250K and $350K respectively) so between that and what look like statisically successful seasons, my guess would be that they'll be stateside.

Nixson Munoz rocking the 57:4 strikeout to walk ratio is pretty fun. Product of Nicaragua, signed in '17 but didn't pitch last year. Looks like he's the first IFA the Sox have signed out of Nicaragua since Raudes (and Jhosmer Cortez) back in July 2014.

Guedez gave up five runs in his first four outings. Since then: 26 1/3 IP, 14 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 28 K.
