Politi hasn't allowed any hits in his last two outings, or to the last five batters in his previous one, so his hitless streak is currently at 10 2/3.

It would be great if we could get an interview with Politi or Bannister or someone with Salem to talk about his evolution from struggling (sort of) reliever to hot stuff starter. His results certainly look encouraging. What about our updated scouting report (will he be at instructs or AFL - could use the innings if he’s a starter now)? What about his own self scouting report. Just a fascinating guy.

Casas with number 19.
Miranda with his first Greenville HR. What a strange career he's had for a 21 year old catcher. He's caught at least 8 games at 5 different levels.
Reyes tossing a gem. He just gave up a 2nd solo but thru 7, 91p 3H 2R 0bb 9k.
Politi's hitless streak was over in the first. Salem down 2-1 after 7.

Cannon not helping Bell in the field. 11th error. I read a glaring report out there about the limitations of cannons defense. I saw him live, but the ball wasn’t hit too him much that day to make an evaluation. Soxprospects scouts disagreed with Keith Laws opinion on cannons Defensive Grade. Based on seeing him live and looking at his hitting and fielding, I wouldn’t grade him in the top 20 in our system right now

Chatham has been so consistent it’s very impressive. I remember BA and MLB considered him a “reach” low bonus pick right after we drafted groome, but he’s been very spectacular and his ceiling may be higher than the scouts envisioned. I love his height and length too. Will be a serviceable MLB player

The entire Lowell game was played (and officiated, in parts) as crisply as you might imagine the day after both teams played a doubleheader that ended around 11:20pm and was followed for one team by a division clinching celebration. That second inning play was just one of those classic sequences for the level where everyone thinks he can salvage a botched play on the fly but just makes things worse.
