Huge thanks to ramirja and vermontsox1 for filling in the past 10 days. It was nice not worry about getting this thread up while on vacation.

Pawsox have only Stank & Houck on short rest. And 5 bullpen guys. Look for them to add someone from Portland. Or maybe Josh Smith.
Weber is with Boston

Erasmo started Friday. Rule says he's on TIA for 3 days, if it's enforced. Tuesday.
NYPL: WEST VIRGINIA is currently lined up to play Lowell. WV has season series wins over Batavia & State College.
Series with WV would be WED, Fri, Sat. Presumably. "500 mile" rule gives an off day.
Edit: lefty Kelvin Sanchez starts for Lowell today.

Of course, if WV loses/Batavia wins today, Batavia takes the Pinckney division. If Lowell also loses, I believe they lose the tiebreaker to Batavia on head-to-head record and become the 3 seed. (If Lowell wins today they will be the 2 seed.) I'll be grateful when the day's games are over and I know when to show up at LeLacheur!

Time to start giving Bobby some outfield reps? Lmao Dalbec is ready in 2020. Casas probably not until 2022 at the earliest. Plenty of time to make the ABs work.

Sturgeon had himself a pretty solid year. Didn’t mash the ball like he did in Portland at the beginning of last season, but a .277 average with a .760 OPS is nothing to sneeze at. Solid high minors contributor with an outside shot at a 4th outfield spot somewhere.

I know it’s usually a good idea to stick to a lax time frame, but it does seem like the Red Sox have been pretty quick to get elite prospects to majors once they’ve hit AA. Devers, Benintendi, Mookie all seemed to fly up pretty quick. Not saying this will be the case, but I don’t know if it would be that shocking that if Casas rakes for three months in Salem next year, gets the promotion to Portland. Then it might be off to the races. Wouldn’t be crazy for a first round pick to get to the majors at 21, no?
