CVaz splits. 1st half: .299/.332/.520/.852 sOPS+ 124 2nd half: .237/.279/.393/.672 sOPS+ 74 Catching wears everyone down. Agree in general but not everyone. Realmuto, age 28, somewhat similar season stats a few weeks ago: 1st half: .273/.328/.438/.767 sOPS+ 103 2nd half: .285/.332/.587/.918 sOPS+ 134

I guess the thing is that Vazquez's second-half numbers are pretty well in line with his career numbers, which could lead to the reasonable assumption that his first half surge was fluky. But I think we all kinda recognized that, right? Like, he got a bunch of fly balls over the monster and we were happy about it.
His production is fine considering how much he costs. There just aren't that many big upgrades at catcher, especially at a reasonable price.
EDIT: Sandy Leon has started 45 games and has a hit in 17 of them.

JBJ 2nd half:
.193/.292/.429
It has be a crossroads on what to do with JBJ.

JBJ 2nd half: .193/.292/.429 It has be a crossroads on what to do with JBJ. Really am done with him. He's a trash player. I'd be open to him being a 5-10 million 4 OF for his defense, but that's it. To which he's also vastly overrated for.
