This game is so bad, we are listening to Jery Remy sing.

Honestly, their play makes it more of a bummer, though they beat horrible teams and are showing their true colors again against the better teams.

Since when is a guy like that done now? That's just your dislike of the Pats talking. They didn't have to sign him. i would have felt that way about any team. Bill Belichek has proven to be the greatest organizational manager of any sports franchise, quite possibly, in history. But he ain't no John Wooden, you know what i mean ? They tried to trade for him and even offered a better pick than the Raiders did. They clearly wanted him. He's an elite player, so like Gordon, they'll get infinite chances. It's amazing how the Raiders gave up a 3rd and a 5th for him to play in New England.

I mean, that's just kind of lucky/flukey it ended up this way. They did offer a 2nd for him. Still, it's just amazing how the stars always seem to align with them. We can just pretend that whatever draft busts Bill has was just whatever the value for AB would have been anyways. The fan boy in me is gushing at the possibilities. The chaos side in me is intrigued how this plays out.

Mookie's good in center, but... Jackie woulda had that. Two defensive positions weakened so that we can get Travis' .231/.288/.413 slash line into the lineup.
ADD: By the way, here are Travis' fWAR numbers for his career:
2017: -0.1 2018: -0.2 2019: -0.3
Basically Nunezian. I'm going to be very disappointed if Travis is penciled in as anything more than AAA depth for next year's roster.

Okay, what I have managed to piece together is that "AB" is someone who is Good at football but Bad at being a person, and the Patriots signed him because they DGAF, and I'm just going to assume this is entirely different than the Yankees' signing Chapman and I'll thank everyone to not explain anything more about this situation to me so I don't have to challenge this assumption.

Well, shooting a gun at his partner is different than being a diva.

They also get rid of guys at the peak of their value before they decline and then get them back after some other team paid a shit ton in either a trade or salary or both for a small fraction.

So, the Red Sox bullpen has given up 1 deserved run in 2 straight bullpen games against the Yankees. Two misplayed popups by JDM led to all 4 runs.

I mean, I get called out for making definitive statements that isn't supposedly true, and I returned the favor. The Patriots can operate differently with Tom Brady at QB the past 20 years. They're also a destination to win and a destination to rebuild value because of that. To his credit, BB takes advantage of that all the time.

Not only did they lose the picks, they let Cooper walk because they brought in Brown. He dismantled a rebuilding franchise and didn't even play a pre-season snap for them.

They traded Cooper last season. The Raiders are the dumbest team in the NFL and apparently it doesn't matter if Al Davis is alive or dead. He must have uploaded his brain to the cloud to continue running the team.

For some reason I had it in my head that was this off-season. Nevermind then. Well, have you seen his son?
