16th 4 hour game of the season. The Sox also have 3 five hour games.
Fix your game, baseball.

Imagine if this game ended earlier, we would have missed this 14 pitch battle by Gorkys Hernandez.

16th 4 hour game of the season. The Sox also have 3 five hour games. Fix your game, baseball. Average time of game for a MLB team this year- 3 hours, 8 minutes (too long) Average time of game for the Red Sox- 3 hours, 24 minutes (an eternity) The average total hours played by a MLB team this year- 470 hours The total time of hours for the Red Sox- 510 hours The Sox have played 16 games worth of hours more than the average MLB team. Not only do they play like crap, but they take forever to finish their crap.

Hey Alex Cora, do you see who you put on the bench so that Moreland can face LHP instead of JBJ?

Dubon's defense is solid.

That's some terrible defense all around in the 13th inning.

Benny has the range of a tree stump and has a noodle arm to boot.

Should Benny have caught that ball?

Benny has the range of a tree stump and has a noodle arm to boot. And a good relay by Xander would have gotten Pillar by 30 feet.

The only way we've been winning games like this is with a solo homer. They're 1/12, GDP, IBB with a runner on base from the 7th on. And 0 for their last 11.

How can almost every guy on the team be so thrown off in these situations, game after game, when as recently as last year they had no issue with it at all?

Well I think it's easily proved that it cannot be predicted. Even Papi sucked in the playoffs after 2013.
