I got to ask: Where does Bleis ranks in the next month ranking? Or we'll have to wait till you see him in ST (or get some reports)?

Haven't discussed yet but with the bonus alone he's gotta be top 40 you figure. ----- Jedixson is pretty great. I think I like Johnfrank and Jhostynxon better, but that's probably a 65 or 70?

Does anyone have a pronunciation key for "Jedixson?" Probably as simple as it looks. I am most certainly not a native speaker of Spanish, so I asked some people I know who are native speakers of Spanish from Mexico. They saw it as an unusual name, and suggested "Hedihson." That is, in Spanish the letter "J" and "X" are pronounced as the English"h" Hence, jalapeno = halapeno. And Mexico = Mehico. And course, marijuana is as we expect. But if someone here knows otherwise please chime in.

Maybe worth noting that Bleis, Mejias, Jedixson, and now Martinez all came from the Mejia Top 10 academy. They were certainly dialed in there and I'd imagine have strong scout relationships there.

One person who might know would be Sox 2019 Latin Program Pitcher of the Year Nixson Muñoz, although he is from Nicaragua.

Alvaro Mejias has VERY large hands, almost always a good thing for a pitcher.

Some highlights from Speier's article: On Ravelo: Speier also said he might be the best defensive SS we've signed since Iglesias. That led me to go back two pages and hunt down this Instagram video, so I'll save others the trouble. Warning: NOT SAFE FOR WORK.

I'm assuming the DSL is back in June. If so, are we going to essentially have both the present and last year's classes playing? Excited to actually see some box scores for them right away.

Any feel yet for where the Sox are against their international cap for this year? It's probably unlikely, but wondering if they could go after Oscar Colás?
