Well, side track for a moment for a spring baseball journey to the past. For those who are to young to remember a number of years ago (1985) SI ran a great story on Sidd Finch a wonder pitcher working his way up the ladder in the Met's system. If you are not familiar with Sidd's story today you will very much enjoy reading it. Be well lovers of baseball.
