Back by popular demand, we'll be rolling out 2020 SoxProspects pre-season all-star voting for each position over the next few weeks. Cast your vote for the catcher in the Red Sox minor league system that you believe will have the best 2020 season. The idea is to vote for the player you predict will perform the best on the field, not who you consider to be the best prospect. Per usual, each player is eligible for only one position and thus will not appear on multiple polls.
This poll will close on Sunday, April 19th @ noon ET. Give it your best shot.

Looks like a runaway so far. I will say though that Groshans could be a bit of a sleeper offensively. His slash line from 2019 doesn't look great: .216/.314/.345. Somehow though, his wRC+ was still average (102), and his peripherals look much better....he had a nice BB% (13.1%), his Ks were manageable (19.4%), his ISO was over .100 (.128 w/ 4 HRs), and his overall line was brought down by a terrible .246 BABIP.

Pretty clear winner here, but I think it'd be a dynamite debate for the Second Team catcher if we did that. You could make an argument for any of the other five guys.

Or even a few more for that matter. We're pretty deep in organizational catchers and long shots. Hell, there were three at Lowell alone.

Yeah, you could add Jonathan Diaz, Elih Marrero, and bonus baby Rivaldo Avila to the list. And Stephen Scott becomes interesting if he takes to catching as well.
