If nailing it means being completely wrong, sure - you nailed it. I think he meant he nailed the spelling.

This off season, at least one publication will rate the Red Sox as now having a top 10 farm with 4 players placing in the top 100.
Next year, Dalbec and Houck will each place in the top 5 in voting for the ROY.
JD will be named the Comeback Player of the Year.
Boston will win at least 90 games.
Bloom will win Executive of the Year.
There will be much rejoicing.

Ok. If we're going to be bold, that young 2b from Minnesota, Arraez, will challenge the .400 mark over the shortened season. Now watch him struggle to hit .250 now that I've put the whammy on him. 100 PERCENT ON THE MARK (the whammy part).

You got me, but I'd say it was only 50% whammy (near the midpoint of .250 and .400) - he did hit .321. Not too shabby.

Beni is going to have a big breakout season, and JBJ is going to hit at least.......... .260. Yup I’m going bold! Lol I also think the starting pitching will boldly be better than expected. Eovaldi and Erod (after getting his feet under him) will be a solid 1,2 punch, Weber and Perez will hold their own, and we’ll find what works best between all the pieces for the 5th spot. I think Hernandez might play a big role in the 5th spot an an opener, bulk guy, or however else they play it out. I forget about my predictions. I got JBJ right, but was way off on Beni. Lol

Well, it looks like this might really be happening. What a strange way to start a season (obv). Rather than rosters and infectious diseases and opt-outs, I wanted to start talking about actual on the field baseball. Anyone want to stick their necks out there for predictions? Are any of these actually bold? One month later, let's check in. Commentary in BOLD.
Not feeling so hot about my prediction ability. Verdugo has been a great season highlight, but the supernova of Dodgers Mookie makes that seem dimmer than it should. Between August 20 and September 27, most of my predictions actually came around. We got Good Bradley for a while, Bogy and Devers hit a little but Devers fielding regressed, starting pitching came on strong at the end, and some are bitter we won a few extra games and dropped a spot or two at the top of the draft.
