They're meant to be a lot less formal than other threads on the forum, so to moderate them the same way would be silly. However, we do ask posters to maintain a certain level of decorum in these threads, and we plan on moderating the Gameday threads a little more actively this season. In particular, we ask that posters refrain from being overly repetitive with their posts (if you've made your point, let it go), refrain from monopolizing the discussion (if you are making more than a couple posts in a row, you probably need to slow down a little bit), and of course, follow the Ground Rules ( link). The point is to make these threads worth participating in and fun for all posters, from our long-time fixtures to people just signing up today. -The Management

My favorite part of gameday: counting the TBDs.
How does one properly celebrate Luxury Tax Reset day?

1 RF Alex Verdugo 2 C Christian Vazquez 3 3B Rafael Devers 4 SS Xander Bogaerts 5 1B Michael Chavis 6 DH Bobby Dalbec 7 CF Jackie Bradley 8 2B Jonathan Arauz 9 LF Jose Peraza
SP:Colten Brewer
Are they throwing Vaz a bone fore dealing with all the trade talk? Lineup makes no sense, and very weak not to mention.

Sox now get an extended look at Kickham. I wonder if Mata will make an appearance before the end of the season.

The sternoclavicular (SC) joint is the linkage between the clavicle (collarbone) and the sternum (breastbone).
Munoz-Kickham-Leyer
0 for 3 Who had 2 of them coming up today? Now at 28/39/58

Brewer isn't a bad pitcher. Throws strikes. Spins / cuts it. Hoping he can find some sustained success and be a big part of the pitching stock in the future.

Arauz needs to be playing every single day. He looks so smooth in the field and hits ropes.

Joe West with the bad call on Dalbec's check swing.
Also, nothing would make me happier than if Gerrit Cole turns back into the Pirates version as soon as the Yankees ink him to a huge deal.

Valdez might be something special. Dude just threw 12 straight changeups as part of his striking out three guys in a row to strand a runner on third. Ok yeah, it was his guy on third after he let up a bases clearing triple, but still. Valdez has been nasty this year.

Fried came into this start having allowed 3 hits to left handed hitters all year, and Verdugo himself now has 3 hits off him. Not bad for a platoon player.
