If you guys want to go take a laugh go check out Tim Locastro’s HBP totals
Fastest sprint speed in the majors for two years running and he’s figured out how to get on base lol

Ok guys I have a question for 2 reasons.
First JA Happ was signed by the Twins for 1 yr at 8 million, isn't he worth every dime plus some and why didn't the Sox get involved?
Second I have been in a baseball fantasy league with the same guys for 30 years. I own Happ at a modest cost and can't figure out what I should expect out of him this year. Whether I should keep him or not. The leagues points for pitching are saves, wins, era, whip and K's. Why are the projections so bad for him when he has been very good for the most part?
Thanks for whatever your thoughts are?

Britton getting arthro for bone spurs in his elbow. Could be a month. That is a bad break for the Yankees.

Forrest Whitley had Tommy John. Astros signing Odorizzi is even more important now.

Hi, everyone. It's been a while. Look forward to getting active again in the community in the coming season. Hope it's not too much of an imposition, but my baseball-world colleague and I have started a podcast (I know, I know). Hope you'll subscribe and check it out: The Opener
We should be fully up and running in iTunes and everywhere else in the next two days, but that first preview episode should give you an idea of what to expect -- a daily, quick (less than 5 minutes!) rundown of three facts and figures from the game. Thanks!

OH MY GAWD THAT'S HAIRPS' MUSIC!
Hi stranger! Looking forward to this. Is the idea it'll be this short every day, or more The Daily length?

Thanks, gents! About time we get some Tony Granadillo talk back up in here.
@chris Hatfield: We want to keep it tight -- every weekday morning, no more than 5 minutes. Quick insightful stat updates, facts, or (hopefully) quick original takes on amateur/MiLB/MLB news that might otherwise already be out there. Get in and out.
We got a bit wrapped around the axle on timing with delays in iTunes approval, but we'll be back next week and then every weekday morning from there on out. Hope folks dig it!

Nice. I've been kind of into the idea of a mini-podcast every day. A friend of mine got The Athletic's The Lead off the ground, which was followed shortly by ESPN Daily, but those are more 15-20 and much harder to do without a commute. (Highly recommend both for folks, btw.)
I've toyed with the idea of doing a couple minutes every morning every day of the season for Patreon on the previous night's games. Just wondering if the ROI would be worth it.

I'm counting the days to Juan Soto's free agency...He'll look so good in a Sox uniform 😍

Appel was so good at Stanford, and he was so eloquent when he walked away three years ago. Some players had a clear flaw and it's easy to figure out why they didn't put it together, but that was never the case, it was always kind of a mystery. I'll be rooting for him.

That’s laughable. Lindor isn’t good enough of a hitter even age that well once the glove goes. I wouldn’t want to be a fan of the team that signs him assuming he gets a big long term contract.
