I wouldn't forget they added Gordon right around the time Murray went down. After some thought, I would say Chris Paul would be my first choice for MVP. Yeah he's only 6th in win shares and his numbers aren't mind blowing. Yet he's the MVP on the second best team this year, a team that was a lottery team last year. Perfect example of what a true PG can do for a team. Celtics are listing Robert Williams as probable for tonight's game, that is rather shocking. Paul is a way better choice, than Curry is, who’s team didn’t even make the playoffs.

This start has been fools gold - they’re running horrible offense right now.

Robert Williams looks better than last game before he got injured, which is surprising.

Looks like Brad is going to watch the entire lead evaporate before calling a timeout.

Tatum is becoming the man!!
I always thought he had Durant lite talent but he is just bigger and just learning how to use that.

Celtics are shooting over 50% from 3 while the Nets are at 7 and we are only winning by 6. Something tells me that’s a bad sign for the second half.

Lol, so predictable. This team is so mentally fragile.

Obviously the Nets are crazy talented, but this Celtics team is a complete clown show.

Has any Celtics team (with lots of talent) ever laid so many full quarter eggs? Frustrating...

Kyrie is so amazing to watch. Broke my heart he wanted nothing to do with Boston.

Looks like the Celtics responded to Brad out of that timeout.

Embarrassing stuff by everyone not named Rob Williams. Just a collection of mentally soft basketball players.

Yikes - Tatum and Walker a combined 9 for 34 - not going win many games doing that, never mind playoff games. Ouch.
outscored 52-29 in the second half so far.

You have to love the defensive effort, they played hard for 48 minutes.

Overall I think they did very well all things considered. Fournier looks like he forgot how to play basketball though.

I didn't watch - just the Gamecast on ESPN - but some brutal shooting percentages, and some bad quarters. Then again - they are the loaded Nets - and we are short Brown. I remain unconvinced that Brad is the right person for this team (any longer - he once did - but it is time to move on, in my view)

Far, FAR from the worst loss they had this season. And you fire Brad and then what? Who do you bring?

Good defense, good effort, horrible ball movement for long stretches. That was mostly just iso Tatum, iso Walker, iso Fournier. Maybe with Brown playing and the D/effort gets it done. Yet not without him, you need to play better team ball.
It's a shame, a healthy Brown and we could have stopped this new big three.

It boggles my mind how this team just forgets how to play basketball, in particular an NBA offense, for long stretches lol

Yet not without him, you need to play better team ball. It's a shame, a healthy Brown and we could have stopped this new big three. The effort was good most of the night, but I mentioned a few minutes into the game that their fast start on offense was fools gold - and that’s exactly how it played out. I really think they need to throw away half of their offensive system in the offseason, as it seems to lend itself to really poor ball movement and way too much iso ball. They have players who can be effective iso players when needed, but they rely on it way too much.
