Isn't it a question of what made you have a better immune system response? It's why the RNA vaccines are spaced apart and the J and J keeps building for over a month to give you a more robust response. I thought Cam didn't have symptoms no?
Given the current climate, it's not great to have a starting QB that's not vaccinated. Nevermind he gets it again, it seems rather likely he'll miss another test if he needs to be tested daily. That's a lot of tests over 17 weeks.

If you’re Asymptomatic you didn’t really get COVID-19, you were just carrying the virus, SARS-CoV-2.

This is depth for last preseason game but maybe he will flash enough to earn a practice squad spot since Asiasi and Keane blow.

Michel to the Rams for two conditional late-round picks. I think that’s the right move, even if they didn’t get back much in return.

This means a few things to me. First, Bolden probably makes the team again (though I feel like they have 1-2 too many ST-only guys, especially since Gunner hasn't shown up at WR)
Second, they actually believe in their passing game and won't aim to run 30+ times a game. If they were really run-first, run-second (like they legitimately could have been) you'd really want all three of Harris/Sony/Stevenson to rotate and cover for injuries. I think they think they can have a real NFL passing game.

I absolutely do not understand the NFL as a business but whenever I see a trade like that I feel like it's admitting that we shouldn't have drafted him with a 1st round pick to begin with.

Was that a question before the trade, though? He wasn’t a total bust but has clearly underperformed relative to where he was drafted. One year of a decent but not great running back was never going to fetch much of a return. Getting the equivalent of a fourth round pick isn’t bad at all. What this trade really shows is that they like JJ Taylor.

It is what it is and frankly the return is on the better side. Given the Rams issues, I might prefer to just get the two picks versus a 4th round Comp pick.
That being said you aren't a better team, Bolden for Michel is a huge downgrade in depth. There's very little money savings and you now lack the RB with a different style. If this was truly for Taylor or someone else I'd feel better, yet it seems it's for Bolden and that makes me sick.

They don’t win the SB in 2018 without Sony - he was great in the playoffs… that automatically makes it a good pick… Also, those sayings Chubb would have been better, I get it but his 12m contract can go to hell… no chance, I’m playing a running back that much money.

Interesting takes, my first thought was they must believe not only in Stevenson but Taylor also. I have liked Taylor ever since the first game he got some carries but is he more than a third down back or does he have some Dion Lewis in him. He does run hard and some of those moves reminded me of Barry Sanders when guys get nothing but air. Stevenson will be the guy that could change everything and combined with JJ could be the 2nd or third coming of thunder and lightning. But Umass brings up a good point when he says, it is Sony for Bolden, that isn't so pretty.
I don't think the return is total trash especially for a guy that was maybe on the bubble or was 3rd or 4th on the depth chart. The Pats are good at finding good players late in the draft so maybe they get lucky and find another Onwenu. More picks also help in moving up in the draft.
Lastly, no not a great 1st round pick obviously and I wish they had taken his teammate at GA because he was just as athletic and effective but also 10 lbs bigger. Those extra 10 always play well in the NFL. But he did play a big part in winning a SB when that team found it's identity late that season. Maybe any decent to good back could have done what he did that season with that line and Devlin at FB but you still can't take that away from him.

The value is pretty good. I would have preferred holding on to Sony just because you know him and Damien will both be banged up at some point. It’s nice to have the other as insurance

If they picked Chubb they pick up his 5th year option, something the Browns couldn't do given they took in him in the second, then they trade him next offseason. I wanted Wallace at WR, yet at least Bill has learned to take a RB a year early than be forced into taking one in the first round. Michel isn't a bad player, yet the bar for first round RBs is so crazy high. I'm just crazy interested in why they took Michel over Chubb, I mean look at their last two RBs, heck look at Bills long-term history. He loves big RBs.

So Mac Jones lights it up today in a highly competitive practice against another team, should he be first QB to get reps tomorrow considering why Cam has missed this time?

I would have preferred holding on to Sony just because you know him and Damien will both be banged up at some point. It’s nice to have the other as insurance it isn't a matter of Bolden carries as he has never really had many carries for the Pats, his best game offensively came against the Pats when he was with Miami. It is the roster spot, Bolden instead of Sony for his special teams play. Which leads me to think Stevenson is going to have a significant role on offense. He reportedly loves playing on ST and lobbied his college coaches to let him play which they denied. He could have played on ST with NE but if they are keeping Bolden it leads me to think once again the coaches are saying no as the want him carrying the ball. Who knows, we will find out soon enough.

So you trade him a year earlier, yet Bill wouldn't flinch either. It certainly didn't workout well for Bell. RBs just don't have much leverage in today's NFL. They are just too easy to replace.

I don't mind a few special team guys, yet 4-5 special team only guys is extreme. Especially considering that hasn't changed even as things like kickoff returns have greatly decreased.

What good first round back has played thru his 5 years? Great backs play 3 years on their rookie deals then get huge extensions. Chubb, Elliott, Kamara, Gurley, McCaffrey, Cook, etc… Barkley didn’t get his extension due to him blowing out his knee but still isn’t playing in his 5th year option. Chargers tried to do it with Gordon and he held out - didn’t get his contract but it wasn’t a good situation and they also couldn’t trade him as his value was shot.
