Complaining about the return before the return is even announced, par for the course

Ignoring the return for Benintendi (since we don't know it yet), and supposing this lets them sign JBJ... has this move made the major league team better? A Verdugo, JBJ, Renfroe/Cordero/Kiké outfield, with Duran knocking on the door... I don't think it's any *worse* at least. !!! Is it worse than it was 2 years ago? Is it forward thinking? It’s a hosge-podge. Basically, the next great Sox team needs another OF overhaul. Great. And this is different from two hours ago... how? If they're keeping JBJ instead of Benintendi, that's not any worse by your keep-all-the-Sox'-own-guys-forever standard. Meanwhile they're adding... whatever it is they're adding. Probably not a whole lot, but Bloom just keeps adding pebbles to the pile which is the way to build back the depth the organization needs.

Obviously it's worse than it was two years ago. We get it your not over the mookie deal. Oh, no. I’m thrilled turn our WS outfield into a platoon and whatever Cordero is. 6 dimensional chess.

Super small sample last year but Cordero slashed his K rate big time When he makes contact he impacts the ball....he’s just gotta make contact. Hopefully they end up bringing back JBJ. I feel validated with my post now

I'm not very thrilled either but your adding absolutely nothing by complaining that the Sox outfield is worse than it was when it won the series. No matter what it was going to be.

I feel validated with my post now In 38 ABs he cut his Ks. And he slashed .211/.286/.447. In the previous year, 15 ABs, 7 ks. Dude will be 27 this year. Isn’t like he has a ton if time not to suck anymore.

I guess the other pieces in the deal would come from the Mets. Maybe some combination of Valdez / Santos / Newton?

Complaining about the return before the return is even announced, par for the course Have more of an agenda, you can’t Return? This is a salary dump. Doesn't make any sense for a rebuilding team to sell on Benintendi when his value is at an all-time low and the roster is pretty much already filled out.

Its a salary dump of a talented player who struggled in a SSS last year. I guess JBJ is going to get paid by the Sox. Unless of course the OF will be Renfroe Cordero and Verdugo which might be one of the worst in baseball.

Lol again, the return hasn’t been announced and you’re criticizing it Stop being absurd guys. Also it makes sense if they don’t think he can bounce back. Which they probably have the most inside info on....

I will say, Franchy's huge potential based on his tools has always been known and dreamed on (Fangraphs has written several pieces on him). A big if, but if he fulfills some of that then the reward could be big.
Much lower floor than Benny, but I want to say a higher ceiling at this point, especially with some of Benny's declining metrics.

Reminds me of the part in the movie Major League. Fly ball....caught

Hahaha I noticed that too I also noticed his second to last home run where he flicks his wrist and it sails out deep to right center. Guys got some serious pop, hopefully he hits enough to realize it

We just need to cross our fingers, and hope its not Willy Mo the 2nd haha.

Who is seal clapping for this trade? Mookie was leaving the red sox if you can't see that I dont know what your looking at.. bloom made a trade to get back about as good a deal as he could. Jbj is leaving most likely, what do you want Bloom to do overpay for a defensive first cf with an average at best bat? Beni i would rather have kept yea but time will tell. Maybe he doesn't bounce back. Stop living in 2018.
