Cabello ranked #23 by Fangraphs and 18th by Kiley/ESPN.

Ohtani is also FAST. Watching the Astros-Angels game, he legs an infield single and steals 2nd off Greinke-Maldonado (Quick to plate pitcher and strong armed catcher). What an amazing athlete!

Just like to note sheer number of posts about the Angels so far in this thread is funny to me. All different reasons.

They were unable to upgrade their rotation in some part due to the financial commitment they made to ol' Albert

I get not spending now with COVID, but he should have gone for it in prior seasons.

Paxton is hurt again also. Was watching the M's game after the Sox got finished and he never made it out of the 2nd. Seattle's MLB site only place see anything about it, tho it says another "forearm strain". His velo was down in the 2nd and story on the M's site says he's going to have an MRI today.
For those interested.. He chose to rehab the last time over surgery. The guy is so fragile.

They backed up the Brinks truck for Rendon, signed Ohtani, Pujols is still on his big deal. I just think that they don’t know how to construct a pitching staff

They burn out their pitchers arms (a lot of that was Scioscia) and then having a clubbie supplying drugs didn't help.

Odor going to the Yankees. I've always detested him as a player. Now, I have more reason to do so!

Trevor Rosenthal might need thoracic outlet surgery. Sucks. I admit, he was a free agent I was eager to pursue. Point to Sox front office for ignoring me!

I feel for the Twins. Akil Baddoo feels like a player that once again they lost for nothing.

It's early, but right now there's a crazy difference in competitive balance between the leagues. This is by games above or below .500: G AL NL 5 0 1 Reds 4 2 2 Astros, Angels Dodgers 3 1 2 Twins Phillies, Cards 2 0 1 Padres 1 2 2 Red Sox, O's Cubs, Giants 0 3 1 White Sox, Indians, Royals Mets -1 5 2 Rays, Yankees, Tigers, Rangers, Mariners Braves, Brewers -2 1 2 Blue Jays Nats, Rockies -3 -4 1 DBacks -5 1 2 A's Marlins, Pirates There are 15 teams within a game of .500, but 10 of those are in the AL. The NL has 5 of the 8 teams that are better than that and 5 of the 7 teams that are worse.
AL also impressive in interleague play; Rays and Twins won series from the Marlins and Brewers respectively, as expected, but the Mariners (otherwise 1-3) won their series with the Giants (3-1) and one of the A's two wins is also one of the Dodgers' two losses, and the A's have been outscored 61-25.

Chris Archer with “forearm discomfort,” out after 2+.
The Rays signed him to a $6.5 million contract, even though he has kind of hit all BUT elbow problems the last few years. That seemed.... what’s the word... stupid? I was underwhelmed with Archer when he wasn’t a shell of himself.

Intriguing but he got hit really hard last year coming back from TJ. If he still looked awful at the alt site then that might explain the DFA and he wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

Wow, look at all these just misses from Story already. 2nd in MLB in expected home runs, zero actual home runs. Dead ball falling at the warning track repeatedly, matches what I've seen from many of our own games so far.
