Think I’m going to be closing off applications to the Christian Arroyo Fan Club shortly. Hop in now or forever hold your peace!

I don't know that I've seen Eduardo be as aggressive in the strike zone as he's been through these first three starts. A welcome development, he's attacking and not creating his own jams anymore. Agreed, he has to be one of the best 5 or 6 starters in the league.

Do you ever watch a team and think, “sure, it is early, but they look like a team destined to underperform and find bad ways to lose?”
Watching the ChiSox, I thought this team will come around and be really good. The Jays look like there is something a bit off.

But I have a feeling, for example, this could be one of those snakebit seasons for Springer. (Hell, they already lost their big closer signing).

yep, and i thought it was gonna be a tough at bat for him when the first pitch was 4 inches outside and got called a strike. on that note, i flipped between a bunch of games yesterday and i swear so many outside balls were being called strikes in each game. tons of hitters complaining too; idk what's going on but umps look like they have a huge strike zone to start the year. as if pitchers need more help in these times. twitter.com/UmpireAuditorIt's addictive. Shows the worst call of the day, every day! I enjoy the site, I wish they'd give recognition on the other side too. I'd be equally entertained by seeing the worse call by the umps that really nailed it. Imagine seeing an ump who got everything right within an inch? With that said, well done Joe...

All those are bad calls but that strike on harper was almost half a foot off the plate that's such a bad call. Unbelievably bad call.

Payamps should be with Sox. How come we can't get pitchers like that?
PS I meant to note NYY have 3 hits thru 7.

Looks good but riding the BABIP monster a bit. Little more power and little more patience and I'm on board.

Not the top of 8th. If JD gets another at bat in 8th, Sox have rallied and put the game away
