Pivetta with decent command in and out of the zone is a good pitcher...need to find a way to have him be more consistent with it from game to game. but unfortunately it can feel more like from batter to batter

Am I wrong or was that a catchable ball? Wanted to see Pivetta go for it

Hey man... it is a bummer, but that was better than I expected Pivetta to be at this point in the season. This game shows his upside AND gives a sense that it is within reach. Bigger than a no-no or even a win (I mean for him... not yhe team).

you can have premium stuff, but if you walk guys you leave yourself vulnerable when contact occurs. been that way forever.
hopefully something to build on, though.

Vazquez should have beaten that out. Lazy
The Cordero experiment is going south fast

Vazquez should have beaten that out. Lazy Should’ve slid. It’s like in half an inning they’ve regressed to the team we saw in first three games. And do Cordero and Renfroe ever swing at strikes or are they getting paid by the swing?

Yea Cordero probably needs to sit for a while and do some work with the hitting coaches to find his swing,.

Sox are certainly the favorites of the gods this season. Triple then 2-3 both K.... and you score anyway. Not how it’s written up in the game plan.

I’ll take that gift run lol Kikè quietly has been very good lately He does hit the ball with authority at a pretty good rate. But he doesn't walk--actually, when you look up and down the lineup I'm thinking the general lack of patience could pop up as an issue for the offense at certain times this year.

Franchy and Renfroe are fifth outfielder types. Like the guys you get when you only have a couple million left in kitty. Not the guys you get when you have $12-20M or so to play with.

So few of our pitchers even give the catchers a chance of throwing out a runner
