Grant Williams still hasn't struck out this year. Only qualified player (by plate appearances) in the minor leagues (all levels) that hasn't struck out yet. Knocking on all of the wood, because now he's going to wear the Golden Sombrero tonight.

One of the hits was a perfect bunt with first and second, nobody out, that he rolled just a foot off the dirt toward third and beat out. Great fundamentally. I am amazed at the talent the Sox sometimes get to sign in the 10th round for next to nothing (2018 $2,500). Definitely someone to root for to get a major league check sometime in the future, even if it's just a cup of coffee there.

Rosario made a strong throw from left center to get a runner trying for a double. Fielded the ball in the gap and made a good throw even though he was moving away from the base.
Friendly advice: don’t leave a hanging breaking ball up to Johan Mieses. Won’t work out for you.

Even though the Sea Dogs are up 5-1, the crew putting the tarp out in a REALLY big gale may be the most exciting part of the game so far.

Not that anyone here probably cares about my fantasy team but I picked Bello up in my deep dynasty league in the last couple days. Hoping my move pays off down the road as he seems an intriguing arm. I'm that guy in the league whose farm system is 1/4 red sox because it'll make my team more fun if they do pan out.

Another thing to like about Bello is he moves very fast. Keeps the game moving and doesn’t slow down.

Christian Koss took a HBP to the hand and looked like he was in a lot of pain. Stayed in the game, but something to watch over the next couple of days.

Woosox and Salem both being no-hit thus far. Salem just tied the game at 4. Just 2 hits, but it's no longer a no-hitter. And it's a tie game.

I kinda dig the Greenville announcer. I miss Ed Jensen, RIP. He had a Harry Carey demeanor to his broadcasts.

Johan Mieses with 9 homers and... 1 double. Lol. Pretty good BB and K rates, too. I'm sure they're going to be a little patient with their first wave of promotions but would imagine he is probably near the front of the line as far as promotion candidates go.
Also, don't want to pile on a guy that is basically a non-prospect at this point (and maybe hasn't been for a while) but man, Cole Brannen..

Chavis ended the Worcester no-no with a line drive single
As far as I’m concerned Brannen hasn’t been a prospect since 2018. Pick didn’t work out. Oh well.
