I would do this straight-up right now and slug Marte at 2nd base and in the lead-off spot. He is signed until 22 and has options for 23 and 24 and makes about what no-hit, no walk Kiké Hernandez makes. AZ might be so jazzed we could get an A-level pitcher in the deal as well. www.fangraphs.com/players/ketel-marte/13613/stats?position=2B/SSAnyone?

Baseball trade values gives Marte a 74, and downs a 24...

Baseball trade values gives Marte a 74, and downs a 24... But everyone wants prospects. Hell, I'd throw in Arroyo or Chavis, whomever they like better - plus the inimitable power monster Franchy Cordero!

Another interesting player on the dbacks could be Josh Reddick. He's making less than a million and they could use another lefty bat in the outfield. He probably wouldn't cost much more than a flier prospect. Could be a good addition that would keep them under luxury tax.
