Now that Bello started the ball rolling. Wondering which players seem due for advancement.

Aldo Ramirez comes to mind. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Durbin Feltman get a shot in the The Show at some point.
DF is 24, and has 25 K's/6 BBs in 19 IP at AA. We've seen young RP come out of nowhere to make an impact in a ML pen during the second half of a season before. I wouldn't be surprised if they see him as potential lightning in a bottle.

I'd wait on Ramirez. The Wu is more ready for High A, I think.

Guys on my radar:
Jaxx Groshans - only 2019 catcher drafted in the first 10 rounds to get a bonus of $68k or higher who's in Low-A. Could easily split the reps with Cottam in Greenville the way both have been used. Tyreque Reed - would need to coincide with a Casas promotion though, so he's kind of blocked. Joe Davis - Maybe a bit more likely but I think still would need to be a 1B chain promotion
Pitching-wise, I just see boring relief pitcher promotions - like the whole Salem bullpen is shoving, for example. Aldo feels like he's at the right level at age 20. I think any Aldo promotion is in like August maybe. But guys like: Jose Adames, Zack Kelly, Seth Blair Dylan Spacke, Alex Scherff, Yorvin Pantoja Brandon Walter, Devon Roedahl, Casey Cobb, Cody Scroggins
Meanwhile, there are guys like Lucas, Suero, De La Rosa, Larez, Merfy Andrew, and others who could backfill.

Jeremy Wu-Yelland, LHP drafted in the 4th round 2020.

I was more than a little surprised when the Sox promoted Bello because the move, after 31+ innings in High-A, didn't seem consistent with their usual patience, especially because his numbers in 2019 in low-A were unimpressive. True, he looked good last year in training camp and pitched well this year in May, but why rush him? What's going on?
Relievers sometimes move fast, especially young ones, and among Sox prospects Bello has perhaps the best stuff in the high minors and doesn't walk many people. Could we see him in Fenway in September if the Sox need a bullpen arm and they're in the thick of a pennant race? Something tells me that he might be among their contingency bullpen options... Is that possible?

I think the lost year is going to change a lot of norms. Consider that with a normal 2020 he's probably in AA to start this year anyway. Seems likely that the stuff was just too good for High-A.

Is that possible? I think the injuries to Mata, Ward, Seabold, and Houk had something to do with this. I heard Cora mention Bello by name the other day when describing the pitching depth in the organization. Houk coming back mitigates this somewhat, but the organization has to be ready for emergencies and moving Bello to AA helped them to know what they had in this respect.

Maybe someone can post all the Rule 5 guys to see who's worth protecting.
