(Permission granted by Mike) Hi Red Sox fans, I have a request: I am currently working on a university research project and want to find out how fans perceive the Red Sox (e.g. how attached you feel to the team) and how you think about the sustainability activities of the Red Sox (e.g. Garden Project; local food suppliers)? As I am highly interested into your opinions I would like to hear what you think about the sustainability activities of the Red Sox (or if you know about them?) and I also would like to ask you if you can share some time with me to answer my questionnaire (takes around 10mins but is quite interesting  ) under the following link. The survey is not linked to a company but just for a research project. Data will be treated confidential and anonymised. Would be happy to share my findings with you later (the last thing I can do). I took the survey. I’m an omnivorous Sox fan who lives far from Boston so I do not often attend games at Fenway. My responses are likely not very typical.

Hi Chrisfromnc, thank you for filling out the questionnaire and that is absolutely fine. Fans are not always from around the area of the team and I do not expect that to many fans are vegetarians/vegan (at least I would wonder if that is the case). |

I took the survey but got to the end and it told me it isn't connecting to yur server.
I really don't want to redo it, the subject is of zero interest to me so I will summarize. I eat meat pretty much every day and I really don't care what the Red Sox eat or what they serve in the stands as long as you can still buy a hot dog.
Good luck with your survey but I think you will get more respondents from the vegen community than the meat eaters which makes for a bias that doesn't exist with blind surveys. Also, you need an additional column, "Not something I think about".

Your answers should be safed automatically (normally - I will check that) so that should be fine. Second, thanks for the comment. That is absolutely true and I also thought about it in advance (and will highlight it as a limitation of the research/excluded such an option on purpose). But as I do some explorative research I think this is okay. I also am pretty aware that most fans care at first about the sport/team as it is the reason why we go to the games and That is absolutely fine/good (I also do not became a fan because of what is happing next to the sport/team/field).. So I do not want to say that someone should behave differently or change something but just want to find out more about the topic as I am highly interested into it! So thanks for all your responses! |

Just saw this, and done (albeit clearly on the later side) - one caveat - I rarely go to home games because I live 300+ miles away - there was no way to indicate that (and it may not be germane at all).
