A's get away with it. Still, not the right call there by Melvin, even though they got out of it.
I wish Raf would've came through.

Why don't they just walk Devers and take their chances with Renfroe? IF the Sox don't score here I don't see how Workman and/or Andriese hold the fort for the 11th and 12th innings. Romo on Renfroe is surely a better matchup than anybody on Devers I'd suppose the A's have data to the contrary, no?

Who's making the call to put the guy on first cora or bloom? Probably both, seems like a no-brainer in this situation to get the force with the guy on first not mattering

The lead runner is the winning run, so what is the downside of putting someone on 1st behind him?

he had the double play no? Kind of doubt it, but could have thrown it. The force at second rather than 1st is the head scratcher to me.

I said this innings ago when he almost ran into the Left Fielder. He has no situation awareness

The lead runner is the winning run, so what is the downside of putting someone on 1st behind him? I think which batters you want to face is the only variable to consider there. Unless you're that sacred that your P will walk two more guys.

Standing O for Workman. He didn’t inspire a ton of confidence but he did the job!

Wow. And another Stressed Coast game - the As - "you take it". Boston - "no, you take it".
Two scoreless from Workman.
Full moon out there?
