Perales pitched last Tuesday, so there's a decent chance he'll be on the mound today in the DSL.

OK, so my guesses at pitching are
FCL: LDLR Blue: Burnet Red: Perales
Edit: yeah, seems like they're doing 4-man rotations in the DSL, which makes sense given 2 off days and one intra-squad every week.

Looks like I was right on DSL but Wilkelman continues to be the Monday starter in the FCL.

I’m really interested to see the scouting report on Miguel Ugueto. Only position player from the 19-20 international class to play stateside and he’s actually getting good playing time and doing well. Today will be his 9th game out of 13 in the lineup. He’s clearly in the mix in their outfield rotation even with a pretty prospect heavy group including Valdez, Vaughan, Gonzalez, and Belen. 8-24 so far with a 2B, HR, and SB. He’s definitely striking out too much and hasn’t walked yet, but I’m interested to see if there’s anything there.
Getting scouting reports from the FCL and maybe even some in the DSL will be really interesting. This season will be the first time that some players are being seen by scouts in game action. I wonder who’s going to jump out.

We're getting reports from the FCL and will have something on the News Page in the next week or 2.

Double for Brainer Bonaci, sure would be nice if some power came through there.

Yizreel Burnet (an Eddie Romero favorite from this past IFA class) with a great start today: 3IP 1H 0ER 0BB 5K
The other DSL starter, Jose Ramirez (which happens to be my Dad's name), pitched 3 no-hit innings albeit with 3BBs to 4Ks.

Wilkelman with another very solid outing: 5IP, 4H, 2ER, 0BB, 9K. Notably, he's at 25Ks and only 2BB so far this year.

Thinking of Juan Chacon, for the boxscore scouts out there (which we all are more or less when it comes to the DSL) how much should be made of walk numbers at the DSL level?

Saw that the Red Sox Blue won their game 13-0 and checked back to see if the Red Sox Red was over and the Blue box score showed the Sox were up 1-0 and burnet had pitched an inning. good for him starting the 2nd game of a doubleheader..Nice work if you can get it LOL.

1) That's pretty much what I thought, thanks for the link. 2) Big shoutout the DSL Nats with 11.85 SO/9 and 1.35 BB/9 with a strikeout/walk ratio more than 3 times better than the next team, I'm sure there's a story there. 3) Outside of when true video game numbers pop, is talking to people in the org the only way to know who's doing well in the DSL and likely to earn a promotion? Instructs give some info, but now the games are more recently and presumably more relevant?

2) That'd probably be in large part because they have the oldest pitching staff in the league (which I think is also true of their FCL staff by a large amount): www.baseball-reference.com/register/league.cgi?id=b6262445#league_pitching::23) Basically. You can look at the numbers to get an idea (but again, tough to make much of walks for hitters, for example), but it's mostly looking at who gets invited stateside, especially to Instructs, Ben Badler's reporting (and to a limited extent Jesse Sanchez at MLB.com, who focuses more on the signing period), and patience. Also important to keep age in mind - a guy succeeding at age 17 in the DSL means way more than a guy doing it at age 20. You also have to just be prepared for there to not really be anyone down there some years.

They finally updated the DSL Blue box score. Ended up with a 16-2 win. Jhostynxon Garcia with a HR.

You also have to just be prepared for there to not really be anyone down there some years. One of their best performers is a recently signed 16 year old who did at least sign for six digits ($170,000) and if Gabriel Agostini ever makes it in the league I'm going to remember this moment fondly. But yeah, they're also they're also throwing out two 19 year olds and a 23 year old as a consistent part of their staff. Thanks for the insight, which does help contextualize why Bonaci was rated so highly coming into the year.

Anyone want to take a guess? I always read it as 'jost-nixon' but I am guessing that's wrong.

No idea. I try not to waste my bullets getting DSL info on pronunciations - let them get stateside first! lol.
My guess would be jost-INK-son? The Y comes before the N.
