No idea. I try not to waste my bullets getting DSL info on pronunciations - let them get stateside first! lol. My guess would be jost-INK-son? The Y comes before the N. If you were in Venezuela trying to name your son after someone whose name was Justinson, is this what you might come up with?

Yeah the "H" sound on that J (or I guess just a silent J?) makes sense.

I vote for yos-TINK-son. Shall we have a poll?
(But I admit my brain always pops up with "Ghost Nixon" when I see his name.)

However it's pronounced, dude needs a good nickname. Eventually.

Might be time to make some noise about Reed. His numbers throughout his minor league career have been good and he's raking this year. His walk rate is outstanding, likely a combination of the fear he puts into pitchers with his power, and his pitch recognition and discipline at the plate. He's had a 24% K rate in his time in the minors, up only slightly this year to 26% as he's advanced from A+ to AA. Time to ask what the Sox have here... www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=reed--000tyr

Saw that the Red Sox Blue won their game 13-0 and checked back to see if the Red Sox Red was over and the Blue box score showed the Sox were up 1-0 and burnet had pitched an inning. good for him starting the 2nd game of a doubleheader..Nice work if you can get it LOL. ... Huh? vermontsox1 explained it below your post. They were replaying the same game in the box score several times and i was being sarcastic about Burnet starting both games of a doubleheader.
