Nick Decker is back to the FCL lineup and DHing. Is he injured again? ADD: For some reason, the link took me to a June 29th box score lol

Nick Decker is back to the FCL lineup and DHing. Is he injured again? No. Decker is in Salem. They are completing the game from 6/29 before playing their normal game.

Blaze Jordan was removed from the FCL game with an injury after the opposing team tripled. No real way to know what happened. Collision at third or something like that.
ADD: He’s apparently well enough to start in the second game today unless that’s a box score error. Game log for the first game had an opposing player triple, then a injury delay, and Jordan was removed from the game. Who knows what happened at this point.

Between the players leaving for the Olympics and call ups, Worcester has seen their roster go from a strong to paltry, and their record from 34-22 at the beginning of the month to 37-33. Duran, Downs, Mieses, Valdez, Cordero, Houck, Baldwin... are now in Boston or at the Olympics. This reminds me of some of the old Pawtucket teams that finished 30+ games under .500.
I am sure this is temporary as Portland is stacked and Mieses and others will return from the Olympics (unless they get a mandatory quarantine or something).
It has been the best year i can remember following the MLb, AAA, and AA.

Anybody else worried that Salazar hasn’t doubled today?

Not sure what happened to him in the completion game from June.

Anybody else worried that Salazar hasn’t doubled today? If it makes you feel any better, the Sox don't have any XBH in that game. And to Salazar's credit he tried to make up for lack of double by getting caught stealing.

Separately from the "is he injured/what happened?" discussion, it's been very nice to see Blaze Jordan swing a hot bat of late. Can be hard to know how many of these doubles at the FCL level are indicative of legit power, but given his profile it seems legit.

Looks like Luis Perales was skipped again in the rotation. Still no Bleis (or Alvaro Meijas).

It's close, but worth noting that every team in our system has a winning record at the moment. #cultureofwinning

Wilkelman done for the day: 5IP, 5H, 1ER, 0BB, 5K. He's now at 30K/2BB through 20.1IP so far this year.
Blaze staying hot - he's 2-2 with two doubles and a BB so far.

If he’s hitting and not striking out, he’s going to be a real prospect. Not concerned about the power at all.

Speaking of on fire, Eddinson Paulino is 3-3 with 2 doubles and is now hitting .452 with a 1.239 OPS through 42 ABs this year.
...and Blaze hits a HR. 3-3 with a HR, two doubles and a BB.

Blaze Jordan is 2 years younger than the average FCL player, is hitting .322/.359/.610 and is striking out 80% as often as the average player.
