Should be Jay Groome's turn, but the recap from yesterday's game on the Drive website says Spacke today.
Should be Liu's turn. Tough to get info on the Salem/Low-A games. If it was a skipped start last time, he should be on the hill today.
ADD: I'd also guess the Portland game is unlikely to get played/finished due to Hurricane Henri.

So Roldani Baldwin was reported to have been promoted to Worcester yesterday, but he’s back down in Portland in today’s lineup…playing right field. Huh?
They sent him up for one game, he didn’t play, then they sent him back down and now he’s playing the outfield which he has never done before. Interesting 48 hours for Baldwin.

Jett Bandy was called up to Boston for the taxi squad, which is why Baldwin went up to Worcester. Worcester's game today got cancelled early (as did Boston's) so they sent Baldwin back to Portland. As for the outfield thing, the outfield recently has regularly featured Reed in left and Castellanos in right, so Baldwin in left isn't even that weird, honestly.

So are you lobbying for Yorke to get promoted to Greenville or is today finally the first day that he plays there?

Looking at the lineups... I wasn't a fan of the pick at the time (knowing nothing other than what I read of course), but Cole Brannen's career seems essentially over. There are some guys we had high hopes for that didn't pan out over the years, but he got a higher bonus than Kukuk, Denney, Rei. Kolbrin VItek made it two seasons in Portland. Who was the last $1 million signee who never made it to AA ball?

That makes it more striking... not a lot of $750,000+ guys washed out before ever touching AA ball without a personal reason.

Casey Cobb was promoted to Greenville and is pitching in today's game.

Can we consider dropping groome in the rankings. Kid has been a bust he is 22 in A ball and still can't perform beyond being a farm arm.

Groome has done everything we could have reasonably hoped for this year. He’s healthy, pitching well, and getting better as the season progresses. Also, being 22 in high A isn’t really old. He’s the 5th youngest player on Greenville’s roster (2nd youngest pitcher on the roster).

Take Jay Groome’s name right out of your mouth! I am very, very enthusiastic about him still. A big-bodied lefty striking out over 12 per-9? Even if he doesn’t reach the peak of a frontline starter, there is a lot of value left — and I haven’t given up on front line starter.
The kid has thrown more innings this year than his whole pro career. He’s gotten better over the season. Me, I’m hoping he does well enough in AA out of the gate next year to get a cup of joe in September.

Who would you even move ahead of Groome? Bryan "Tommy John" Mata? Noah "Flight School" Song? Josh "Not More Age Advanced Than Groome" Winckowski? Chris "I Always Forget About That Guy" Murphy? Thaddeus "Tommy John AND He's Pretty Old" Ward? Wilkelman "Not Even to A-Ball Yet" Gonzalez? Those are the next 6 pitchers ranked after Groome in the system. Caveats aplenty with that crowd.
I suppose one might be high on Blaze Jordan, but I wouldn't come close to putting any of the other positional players in the 11-20 range (Bonaci, Lugo, Wong) ahead of Groome.

This Groome stuff made me look at his game logs. In his last 6 starts, hitters are slashing .170/.228/.340. That is 29.2 innings, 18 hits, 39 Ks.
Yeah, that is a small and arbitrary sample, but…. that is pretty exciting, if you ask me.
Add: anyway, it seems strange to want to drop a guy who is actually improving!

If Ceddanne Rafaela had a league average BABIP this year then he'd be around an 800 OPS, which would make him a pretty interesting guy. Alas, his BABIP is 50 points below league average. Wish we could see some batted ball data.

Yes mata, song, blaze and Murphy.

Yorke's RBI single was a deep fly ball off the RF wall, base runner on first thought it was going to be caught he stayed to tag up and couldn't advance in front of him.

I've always wondered whether low minors BABIP was more or less predictive of true talent than MLB BABIP. Given the wider band of ability in the minors, feels like an outlier BABIP there could be more reflective of true talent (i.e., a guy with a particularly high or low BABIP might be less luck and more that he's just better or worse than the average player in the league), but you're also dealing with inconsistent pitching matchups, defenses, infields/stadiums, etc., and maybe it all evens out.

Pretty confident that Liu reached a season high in swings-and-misses (I'll count them later) and we just closed the bottom half of the 4th inning 😂

Rafaela is very aggressive and swings at a lot of pitches that he probably shouldn’t. Sometimes his quality of contact isn’t what it should be because he’s just getting the bat on a bad pitch to swing at. On the other hand, sometimes he manages to really barrel up those poor swings. But the weak contact on pitches outside the zone could contribute to the poor BABIP.

Wyatt Olds loaded the bases with 0 outs, then struck out the next three on nine pitches. He's struck out 6 of 15 so far in the pros.

Wyatt Olds: 2 IP, 5 K's. In his second inning, he created a mess: Hit the leadoff batter, walks the 2nd then gave up a single to load the bases with no outs, then struck out the next 3 batters 😅
