Seriously, if they don't show some life this half-inning, I start making other plans for tomorrow night. I’d honestly set for an at-bat with a full count and a single foul ball haha

Waiting for that one moment that can change the series similar to Altuves homer in Boston to tie it on - they need something to feel good about and use that as a jump start.

The Red Sox need to have Pedro Cerrano contact Jobu to wake up the Red Sox sleeping bats. The insurance guy? He didn't give Jobu enough rum

One good thing about Garcia is that he’s capable of giving up a nuclear inning

No very specific number of whistles when the Red Sox are up.

Yesterday was such a unique day because Xander didn't yank any outside pitches for weak groundouts.

That wasn't even that close to being a strike.

Smoltz and Buck are in orgasmic phase about Garcia - even calling clear balls strikes. Silly season.

Well folks - there goes the "heart" of the order
Raffi swinging for the moon - and Xander and JD having no idea WHAT they were swinging at.

quite a turnaround for their last 2 pitchers from early in the series. within the realm of possibilities, but raising eyebrow also.
Let's go Nate, stay with him. The Big Break is coming.

He went through the heart of the order like it was nothing. JD Martinez swung and missed at the same pitch 3 times and each time the pitch was a ball if he laid off.
They are flat out lifeless tonight. If the Astros score a couple of more runs the Sox will be in huge trouble.

He usually hits better when they don’t play lol He used to have such a good RCF stroke...what happened?? Don't know. And the reason stuff like that irks me so much is I don't know how professional hitters can not recognize that they are doing the same terrible thing over and over and even try to fix it.

Garcia has a no-hitter.
(C’mon… that’s THE classic jinx)!

This strategy makes sense they need to suck at hitting the starters so they don’t get embarrassed against the bullpen
