Odorizzi's pitch count is way up there and I'm not sure how stretched out he is. Let's use up their bullpen!

I would take Eovaldi out after 5 innings. Let him qualify for the W, keep his pitch count low enough to go again on short rest, game 5?

Ya, multiple extra inning games that didn't end until early morning hours. Thankfully I work with an office full of Sox fans and we were all dragging together....would happily do it again if we need to. I remember it vividly, I called all of my Yankee fan friends who gave me shit after it was over. It was such a release after all of my childhood (I was 7 in 86 and it pretty much ruined me). 2003 ended so disappointingly, 04 was like therapy for the soul. I really can't imagine what it felt like losing in '86 as a Sox fan. (Not to bring back bad memories) This run of success for the Sox since '04 must feel amazing for longtime fans that are old enough to remember a big chunk of the drought. Being 23 the worst memory I have for the Sox is game 162 in 2011 and thats nothing compared to other moments the franchise went through.

Arroyo's throws kind of stink, but Schwarber's handling everything

I allowed myself to think it was finally happening when there were 2 outs in the 9th and no one on in game 6. Especially when it was 0-2. Imagine if they had put Clemens in for the 9th.

watching Nate pitch like this, when he is in, us very Pedro-esque. What a treat.

I’m 24 and that’s my worst Red Sox memory too 🤣 in the words of my father, a fan who witnessed 75, 78, 86, 03… “you young fans are spoiled; you expect a World Series every 5 years!”

(damn Julian Javier). 2004 my first unabashed elation. It's sure been just fine since.

Get the bully up. There just isn't any reason to have Nate do high stress innings tonight.

Would have been nice if Nate got some close pitches like the Astros were.

Would have been nice if Nate got some close pitches like the Astros were. Any of those 3 balls would’ve been called a strike if JD was at bat.

yeah. I am not overthinking this. Let Nate work as much as Cora thinks he needs to. Don't give the opponent any oxygen.

I don't understand how this ball park is allowed to exist. That ball wouldn't even have hit the Green Monster and the wall isn't even half as high.

No lead is safe in this park against that lineup.
Edit: Our Perez plan looking a little more sketchy.
