First Arizona Fall League games are today - Scottsdale plays at 8:35pm ET. Per MLB.com, Seabold starting. It also said 9:35 ET (AZ doesn't do daylight savings) Whoops - forgot that Arizona makes things super confusing.

That's not likely how most of the rest of the world views it. Feet, inches, miles, gallons, pounds, daylight savings, all yesterday's leftovers.

I second that, it stays dark here now until almost 8am. Also as a parent of a special needs child I can't tell you how great those first few weeks when we spring forward are in this household (it's a shitshow). Why are we running the country like it's still agriculture based? Just set the time zones and forget about it.

If you need to go do stuff when it's light out, go do stuff when it's light out regardless of the time. It never made sense. They could have changed the time the markets opened to be based on daylight instead of changing the stupid time.

Florida has already passed a law that would make it Daily Savings Time all year round. However, Congress has to approve it first, but has not done it yet or even taken it up for debate. If the Northeast gets Atlantic Time, then probably Florida will be able to, too.
The problem is that kids would have to walk to school in the dark in the Winter. That's the biggest problem.

I thought it was for industry so that factories could use less energy by not needing to turn lights on until an hour later. Not sure how many factories are left tho...

Let businesses and schools change their hours based on sunrise/sunset instead of forcing the entire world to change for them.
