This one is almost too funny (and deserving). Change team name because of some obscure social pressure because of a few loud voices and not do homework/check if anyone else in same city is using the SAME name you want to use? Expect to get sued. Poor Cleveland |

Haha, yeah, it does seem a bit ridiculous when a sports team or any group has to change its name due to social pressure without doing thorough research first. It's important to consider the history and potential trademark issues before making such a change. Otherwise, you're just setting yourself up for legal trouble. It's always a good idea to do your homework and check if someone else in your city or anywhere else is already using the same name you want to use. Saves you from a whole lot of headaches down the road!
