No idea what thread to put this in and not important enough for its own, but what was the deal with Campbell and DiValerio swapping spots for a single day. On Sunday, Campbell went up to Greenville and DiValerio down to Salem. Then on the off day on Monday, they went back to their original teams. I assume it was just a roster manipulation thing and they didn't even leave their respective teams, but I don't see why the manipulation was needed. Bautista was moved up to Salem, but that didn't look like it needed that kind of move.

I think I read here, so someone will hopefully have this right, that a bunch of guys in Salem got sick. I note that Sena got put on the IL (where we can't see him) midweek randomly too despite not even having pitched yet, as that was the Bautista countermove. My guess is they brought DiValerio down to be emergency relief on Sunday (and he pitched) and Campbell to Greenville was the paper countermove, and the whole thing was temporary. Sena might also be sick. Bautista pitched, so the fact they used both him and DiValerio right away suggests guys weren't available.
Of course, it also could just be the opening day rain and needing to use 7 relievers on Saturday for the pseudo-doubleheader. Either way, it was definitely a short-term Salem depth thing.

I may take a run up the road, from East Greenwich, RI, to Worcester, for today's early afternoon, opener, or, tomorrow's game, especially given the well timed break in the weather, and forecasts both days, in the 60s (and, they're also a client, since 2009 - going back to Pawsox days)

I'd trade him for Brusdar Graterol at this point. I'd even throw in Connor Wong.

Guys who can hit 100 that gets hit back at them at 110 are not that special. Graterol is also a walking TJ case waiting to happen.
Wong has a non-zero chance of becoming a starting MLB catcher. I wouldn't trade that for a guy with elbow-popping velo that doesn't miss enough bats.

Loooooong home run for Casas. He deservedly stood there and watched it for a second. 477 feet I know the whole polar vortex thing with the Worcester park but that thing was absolutely crushed. No doubt Casas has awesome power potential. I love the way he talks about working on his approach at the plate. If he can marry that power with a very good approach to the plate the sky's the limit for him.

Hamilton has two more stolen bases in two attempts tonight. It’s only the second inning. That’s six on the year. What’s the Red Sox record and does he beat it?

They've hit Bello's fastball in the air pretty good a few times, but his change and slider are untouchable. He looks like he could get major leaguers out tomorrow.

Bello is just bullying Harrisburg’s hitters 😂 2 of their hits (all singles) were one on a bunt to the pitcher and the other on a grounder to the second baseman.
