Inefficient start for Murphy. Threw only 44 of 83 pitches for strikes and was consistently behind in the count. Ended up only giving up the two runs in four innings but he was helped out by old friend Jeisson Rosario who ran into the third out on the base paths twice in those four innings.

Downs and Casas just went back-to-back for the WooSox.

After that mini slump it looks like Casas is heating up: line drives extra base hits and no Ks is the way to go. It's good for his development to hit strechs like that so he can make the necessary adjustments imho

If I've done the math correctly...
Jeter Downs' last 10 games: .285/.405/.571/.976, 3 HR, 7 BB, 11 K

Looks like Casas is holding his hands higher than usual in the video of the home run; hope he's not one of those guys who tinkers too much and messes up his mechanics.

Northcut and Binelas with another dinger each as well

Of course the bats showed up today. It was a tough game for me to fit into my schedule and with the rain in the forecast I chose to leave town early. Made the right call in hindsight since it got delayed 2 hours, but I knew that would translate into a good day for the Drive hitters:
Yorke 3-5 Rafaela 2-5, 4 RBI Binelas 2-4 Jimenez 2-5

Will Darwinzon ever figure it out? Outlook not so good. Does not seem like the new arm slot is taking. Might require some time

At some point Kavadas needs to move up, right? Seems like he's almost walking to a fault. Kind of blocked in Greenville but when Casas gets promoted I'd imagine you see a chain Castellanos-Davis-Kavadas promotion

In his last 12, he's at .200/.321/.511 with a 37.7% K rate. Some poor BIP luck involved in that average but he's just fine in High-A.
I'm dumb sorry. Misread your post. Kavadas is walking a lot but he's also sporting a 33% K rate. He's fine in Low-A for now. As for the chain promotion you propose, Castellanos has been awful (.388 OPS!) and Davis has barely played behind Northcut and Binelas, so I don't think there's any chance of that any time soon.
