Circle of trust
Strahm, Schreiber
Circle of don’t trust but accept
Robles, Diekman, Danish, Houck, Sawamura, Davis (Austin is trending up)
Circle of incineration on the sun

I may be speaking too soon, but are we sure this is still the 2022 Red Sox?

Xander Robles-proofing this game. Pay him what he wants. We need him here....for as long as he can play.

Franchy robbed of improving his elite walk % by the lack of a robot behind the dish

Franchy robbed of improving his elite walk % by the lack of a robot behind the dish I hate the 'automatic' 3-0 strike call on anything remotely close

It would be awesome to keep Devers, X, and JDM together. Not gonna happen sadly

Robles can not nibble vs the ninth hitter up 3. I would totally rather take a leadoff 700 ft home run than a walk

What happened to Odorizzi looks exactly what happened to Soroka who ruptured his achilles. Achilles is the absolute worst. I've had the grade 1 and grade 3 hammy, 2 ACL/PCL/MCL reconstructions and a few other arts and crafts projects on my body over the years. I can say confidently Achilles was the most painful and takes the longest to recover from. And, after talking with several others who've had it done, most people just don't have the same ability after (me included).

Hoping to see Franchy back out there tonight. His at bats have been looking great so far and his expected stats have been even better.
I'm interested to see how he handles pitchers inevitably adjusting their approach against him. He's currently has a well below average zone percentage at 44.1%, with a slightly above average whiff percentage at 26.4%. Along with a good chase percentage(23.3%) and low swing percentage(44.7%), what it looks like is pitchers are attacking him like he's the swing happy Franchy from last year. They've been firing in fastballs above the zone and breakers below, and instead of expanding the zone, he's done a great job of spitting on them.
I expect his strikeouts to increase and walks to decrease once they start attacking him more in the zone, but if he can maintain those whiff and chase percentage numbers, I think he'll be just fine. Too small of a sample size to see if it will stick, but I'm optimistic some of it does.

Still not over the highway robbery of Franchy Cordero’s final at bat last night. I will not rest until this is avenged. Sickening! Despicable!
You’d think a star would get the benefit of the doubt

I never had any of those, but I did have my leg basically Joe Theismanned while playing hockey. I got it trapped under me as I was pushed backwards. Snapped above the skate and tore all the tendons in my ankle. 14 weeks of crutches, 2 surgeries and walked with a limp for more than 12 months. The broken leg wasn't anywhere near as bad as the ankle. Pretty ok now, except I lost a lot of flexibility. That's what I get for playing adult hockey. Miss it though. Funny thing about it was that I drove home with my left foot and told my wife at the time that I think I hurt myself. Somehow I hopped on one leg and used my stick as a crutch and someone else carried my gear. I went to an urgent care and the Carolina Hurricanes orthopedic surgeon happened to be there and said he never saw an injury worse than that. I can't believe that the Astros still won't even say what part of his body was hurt, as if it's some huge secret that will give other teams an advantage or something if revealed.

If he isn’t on the 60 day DL he needs to be immediately banned from the league for getting carted off, giving pitchers a bad name smdh

Here's the upcoming ump scorecard: Most influential calls: #1 - Diekman pitching to Alvarez. Top of the 6th, no outs runners on 1st and 2nd with 2-2 count. Strike is called a ball.
