I wonder if, after all the pieces on the deadballs, they mucked with it again.

Achilles is the absolute worst. I've had the grade 1 and grade 3 hammy, 2 ACL/PCL/MCL reconstructions and a few other arts and crafts projects on my body over the years. I can say confidently Achilles was the most painful and takes the longest to recover from. And, after talking with several others who've had it done, most people just don't have the same ability after (me included). I never had any of those, but I did have my leg basically Joe Theismanned while playing hockey. I got it trapped under me as I was pushed backwards. Snapped above the skate and tore all the tendons in my ankle. 14 weeks of crutches, 2 surgeries and walked with a limp for more than 12 months. The broken leg wasn't anywhere near as bad as the ankle. Pretty ok now, except I lost a lot of flexibility. That's what I get for playing adult hockey. Miss it though. Funny thing about it was that I drove home with my left foot and told my wife at the time that I think I hurt myself. Somehow I hopped on one leg and used my stick as a crutch and someone else carried my gear. I went to an urgent care and the Carolina Hurricanes orthopedic surgeon happened to be there and said he never saw an injury worse than that. I can't believe that the Astros still won't even say what part of his body was hurt, as if it's some huge secret that will give other teams an advantage or something if revealed. That's brutal, bro. The worst part of all of this, at least in my experience, is the months or (achilles) years of PT and rehab.

Can't wait until we have a guy at first who has been playing the position since he was drafted in 2018.

What is going on with Eovaldi and the home runs. 12 in 41 innings.

The rare second inning white flag, so odd for Nate.
