Salem no longer playing 2. They're not going to make up the other game.

Salem with a good test tonight against Jarlin Santana. He struck out 3 in the first inning. Man, the Nationals got an incredible package for Soto.

Insane that in a low A matchup Perales isn't the hardest throwing starter. Susana is a legit triple digits fastball guy.

Another solid start from Wikelman: 5IP, 3H, 1ER, 1BB, 4K
In four A+ starts: 17IP, 13H, 5ER, 6BB, 23K

Another solid start from Wikelman: 5IP, 3H, 1ER, 1BB, 4K In four A+ starts: 17IP, 13H, 5ER, 6BB, 23K Great to see this. He had some struggles earlier in the year in low A, especially with control (I think). Glad to see him getting his mojo back.

And another great outing from Seabold: 6IP, 4H, 1ER, 0BB, 6K It's hard to appraise a player or a team when there are injuries. Good to see Seabold and Yorke coming around and it's further proof that it's a mistake to write a player off when there are physical issues.

I just don’t know about Seabold but I like to see him get a shot next season. I thought Winc. fell off as the season progressed. But he deserves a chance next year. You need all the starters you can get.

Mikey Romero with a 6-game hitting streak - all but one of those games have been multi-hit games.
So far in 34 ABs in Salem: .353/.371/.588

His power was a big question mark in the draft profiles

I must be getting old, I don't remember Julio. was that as a Devil Ray ? Don't remember him either. Think another pretty much unknown may have held it for years.. Short kid name of Mike Ciampa (was pronounced champa). Guy was barely 5', an OF late 70's in the Sox system. Used to tease him and call him "shorty" all the time. 1 day was on him pretty good and told him he couldn't put anything over the RF wall at Chain-o-Lakes stadium, which wasn't any short poke as it was. He hit one over the scoreboard during that very game and looked at me, at my normal seat while heading around the bases. Not sure who was happiest. Think it may have been his only professional homer tho. Nice kid tho, but mostly speed as an asset.

Though I suppose the ultimate example of scouting box scores, Yorke just made his first error of the year - in his 66th game.....

It looks like Perales fell apart towards the end of his start checking out the box score.

Wait, he threw 39 pitches, 31 for strikes? Holy crap.
