Another bad game clock awareness moment from Mac Jones.

MP just needs better players! Stevenson potentially costing you two straight games. Thornton dropping long passes, Mac Jones doing his thing of whatever it is.

Ugly loss. No, win. No, finally, loss.
Cincy tried to give it to the Pats - they said "no, thanks".
Yuck.

Awful play calling. Awful QB. Awful defense. Awful special teams.
Awful team.
Play Zappe next week. Fire MP, immediately.

Another bad game clock awareness moment from Mac Jones. He's terrible with the clock. I heard Cam had 1 delay of game. I believe Mac had 8 last year and has more this year.

I'm actually happy, it's what I wanted. Close and competitive games where you lose. You still have a chance at a top ten pick!

Mac had a better QB rating than Burrow, would’ve had over 300 yards if not for some of those drops. Defense shut them out in the 2nd half. What purpose would playing Zappe serve now?

The first half was an utter disaster. Burrow had two picks, but take them away, the Bengals have at least a 9 point gap in scoring. Defense lost them the game in the first half. It really doesn't matter how well they did in the second half. Cincy had 2 missed XPT, a missed FG and a pick within FG range. These are points that Cincy should have had. Cincy didn't play a clean game by any means. If I were a Cincy fan, I'd be ripping them too, but this is exactly what I didn't want. The Patriots to make it close to hide the fact they played terribly in all 3 phases.

Best part of the game was Marcus Jones interception he ran back for touchdown. Stephen Belichick walks by Bill and they slap hands it got me misty eyed like scene from Field of Dreams.

So was the 2nd half Mac Jones finally getting over his interception worries? Good for him, because if he didn't do that I would have started Zappe next game. Everyone blames everything on MP, yet Mac Jones changed his ways after all those interceptions. Young QB finding his way, exactly what you want to see to end the year. Let's hope he keeps it going.

crazy that people keep blaming the crappy offense on the guy who is in charge of it, so bizarre

The worst offense in recent memory was 2020 with Josh McDaniels. 27th in the league, so that means Josh McDaniels sucks? Maybe it wasn't him, yet the talent he had? Great example being how bad Newton looked the next year for the Panthers. He's not even playing this year. Perfect example of blaming everything on the OC is just crazy.

McDaniels didn’t have his own receivers constantly humping each other 10 yards down field and wouldn’t call for his receivers to run 4 15 yards routes on 3rd and 4. He had a system that was proven to actually work and actually had the players respect.
Matt Patricia was an assistant offensive line coach in 2005. That’s his offensive qualifications. They are not the same. I wish calling an offense was like rocket science, apparently it’s not.

Yeah they would just run it three times and punt. I see people talking about those groupings all the time, I've also seen them produce wide open receivers. Imagine complaining about spacing that results in wide open receivers.

See that's the problem, you compare it to last year. This isn’t last year's team, last year was a dominant running attack, with a much better OL. You'd get in Red Zone last year and be able to run it down teams throats repeatedly. You can't do that this year. Last year you could win games throwing what 3 passes? Last year your top backup OL is now your best guy on OL. Think about that, injury you get Onwenu playing. Want power running game, insert Onwenu who is one of the best OG and maulers in football as your 6th OL. We've started a RT the last two games we signed off another teams practice squad. We had a full time fullback last year, we don't even have one this year.
If you look at this year's team versus last year's team and the only difference you see is MP I don't know what to tell you. That's like blaming 2019 on Brady and McDaniels, not acknowledging that they didn't have elite talent.
Announcer last night when asked what's the issue is, lack of elite talent. No one that the defense has to completely game plan to stop. Last year that was our rushing attack, which made things easy for Mac Jones. Heck halftime show was calling for them to pull Mac Jones.
This isn’t just MP and if you act that way in the offseason next season will be more of the same!

And who again was it that tried to change up the entire run scheme to something far less effective when he came in to run the offense?
Nobody is saying he’s the only issue. He sure as hell is a major one. Everybody with eyes sees it and recognizes it, both on a local and national level
Would you leave Patricia in charge of the offense next season?

He needs an elite WR. We'll probably talk in circles if it's the coaching or the QB, but Mac badly needs a go to guy.

The defense knew when they were running screens. They always do, been the case for weeks unfortunately. Opposing LB’s calling out the plays. Opposing DC’s more or less mocking our offense. Sad sight!

Why does he keep calling them. You don’t have to answer. It’s so arrogant. I’m dying for the off-season. I think Kraft doesn’t want to make a move but what if coach tells Kraft we’re going to give Judge the offense next year? That is not good enough. BB needs a come to Jesus moment.

Well I’m glad they showed some heart but boy are they an ugly watch CDJ, that’s the point that bothers me , they have some players here. I know there’s no moral victories but the Minny game, Vegas, Grenn Bay, even Baltimore. This game vs Cincinnati. It’s too bad
