Sox win. Highest they can pick is 13th outside of the lottery and could go to 14th. Go Twins.

Who cares about moving up or down a spot in the draft order? The odds that the team next to us wants the exact same player are small enough, let's just enjoy the game and hope for a few more enjoyable games before the end of the year.

I would love a Red Sox sweep of the Rays. The Rays wouldn't mind, either. No danger of accidentally moving up to the 5 seed and facing the Jays and then, if they win, the Astros, versus the Guardians and then the Yankees.

I hate the MFY and Blue Jays. An Astros vs Rays ALCS would be fine by me.

Kinda wish Devers would run out groundballs on occasion.

Meaningless game and yeah he has one of their two hits but what is the benefit to Hosmer playing and Casas not?

and this is Eck's last time announcing, right ? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I will remain in denial about this for as long as I have to. Eck is one of very few things about the 2022 Red Sox that I won't be at least semi-relieved to see end tomorrow.

Hopefully the X granny is enough to get Nate a nice W in what is likely his final Sox appearance.

it is kind of amazing. These games are the last hurrah of the remnants of the 2018 Sox. Makes me whistful.

I just tuned in for that. My wife and I started the PBS series "Guilt" (really great!) - and talk about luck. She headed for bed, I got mlb.com up just in time to see the slam. Living large!

I have too many favorites to count but if I could only own/wear one jersey it would either be number 8 or 9, small chance 25.

that stinks i was in a good mood to watch tonight's game. I am over my tantrum and the pain of the season. Was enjoying this.

So - apparently there is an 80% chance of rain tomorrow - and listening to Joe C and Will F on the radio, indications are that the game would be meaningless.
Which means this may be it. We go out with an Eovaldi rain-shortened shut out and a Xander grand slam.
I guess that would be an appropriate end to this season - having the last game cancelled.
Sharing the challenges with all of you was therapeutic, for sure. Joy will not come with the Patriots (in my opinion), so I will switch to the fate of the Celtics and Bruins.
