Hickey has a Salty vibe to him, not sure he'll have the career Salty had,but Hickey reminds me of him.

Christopher Troye has struck out 31 of the 62 batters he's faced so far.... seems good! Nice to see him building off of some preseason buzz, I'd imagine once someone out of that Guerrero/Fernandez/Dehlinger group gets promoted to Worcester, he's the likely candidate to fill that void as he's already old-ish for his level.

Bleis hasn't played since Thursday when he left the game with an apparent hand injury at the plate

Hickey has a Salty vibe to him, not sure he'll have the career Salty had,but Hickey reminds me of him. I was at the Sea Dogs game last night. A few notes: -Meidroth had 2 hard hit, deep outs where great catches were made at the wall. -Hickey's throws were noticeably bad. Inaccurate, long pop time, slow velocity. -Yorke made a pretty good play at 2nd base on a poor feed from rafaela. Made a good adjustment and had good footwork. -Liu looked good, but seems to have a really cut-off stride which prevents some good extension and perceived velocity. -Niko's 2nd HR went out of the stadium.

One of the Worcester HRs was by Ryan Fitzgerald, his 7th. Fitzgerald had a great 2021, then started great in 2022 before tailing off offensively. This past Spring he said on social media that he had been playing with a small fracture somewhere. This year he’s hitting better than ever and playing all over the field. Can he still play an average SS? Played 2b yesterday. Good depth piece, deserves a chance.

Dont know if it would help at all but maybe they should get Tek working with Hickey in the offseason. Dont know that Tek is a miracle worker, though.
