Johnfrank Salazar has two starts at 3B, one at 1B and one at C. Weird case. He has a nice season in the FCL last year and makes it to Salem as an 18 y/o where he does okay. Earns himself a thimbleful of helium. Then he converts to catcher, and now he's been demoted to FCL utility guy that barely catches in games?
You know what the best part of my day is? It's about ten seconds from when I log on to Soxprospects until I load up the DSL box score. Because I think maybe I'll look at the lineup and Yoelin won't be there. No goodbye, no see ya later, no nothing. Just left.

I love this so much that I don't want to say the following, but based on what I've heard, I don't think it's likely be (or anyone) comes over this year.
"We really don't need the whole commercial break/warm-up routine every time a new reliever comes into the game. It certainly made sense in 1884 when they only switched pitchers when the starter was attacked by pickaxe or caught consumption, and no reliever was warming up because he was busy gambling and drinking." - JD
I still think I'm going to wake up and say "I shouldn't listen to the podcast before bed, I dreamed the Sox signed a guy from Curaçao named Charlie Zink." - KOC
Nice outing for Nicolas De La Cruz: 4IP 2H 0ER 0BB 5K
You're missing the bigger story here. The relievers were Darlyn De La Cruz and Ruben De La Cruz. Combined four-hit, three-De-La-Cruz shutout.
A De La Crew, if you will.
Edit: Wait, nevermind, it's Tres La Cruz.

Drohan: 6IP 6H 3ER 1BB 7K - allowed a 2-run HR to the second-to-last batter he faced.
It's probably worth noting too that Norfolk has one of the best, if not the best, lineup in minor league baseball featuring Connor Norby, Jordan Westburg, and Heston Kjerstad. The 2-8 hitters all had an OPS over .800 and Norby leads off with a .783 OPS. That's a really good outing from Drohan.

It was pointed out to me that the roster includes also includes a De Leon, two De Los Santos, a Del Orbe, and a Delancey

Bradley Blalock has been dominant in his return from Tommy John. His starts this year have gone 4 IP-1ER, 4 IP-1ER, 5 IP-0ER, and 5 IP-1ER. Now a 1.50 ERA over 18 IP with a 19-4 K-BB ratio.

Spent 2021 on Salem so this has basically been a rehab (no less good to see him throw well obv). Doubt he's there much longer. Promotion next week with Coffey maybe?
