1. Why is he not a Patriot? He’s accurate, tough as hell, a fierce competitor. 2. He’s not going in later rounds. If he comes out he’s probably a top 5 pick. Really? Have you seen the crap he's done? Latest one barely beating a 1-5 team he walks up to the student section of the other team and just shows off his watch screaming crap at them after the game. Eyes pokes an opponent, calls other team praying at mid-field disrespectful and go off on them for it. Next game he's at mid field with his teammates doing far worse. I haven't seen a top prospect do more crap than he's done in a few weeks over a full season. |

I watched Penix play and he was unreal, he also has 2-3 high picks at WR, so it's hard to tell. His game against Oregon will tell us a lot.

I'll say it again trade off pieces like Bourne so you can play the young guys. Gesecki, Zeke, Maybe Henry, maybe Stevenson, defenders you won't sign like Dugger, Uche, etc. Build up picks, tank to get a top pick. You aren't making playoffs, so any extra wins just hurt the team long term.

When you have 60k season ticket holders -paying big $-- it's going to be hard for the Krafts to even acknowledge a possibility of tanking. Even though most fans would get it. It was only a few months ago Bob said he was optimistic and called the team one of the "younger" talent groups in the league. Maj. rebuild, will be no choice if the losses continue.
People are going to start asking if Bill can be trusted to make picks in the year NE should be in the bottom five.
